Ralph Virgil Jack Paris
(May 6, 1929 – March 6, 2016)

Jack was born in Gadsden, AL, to Frank and Annie Paris. He served proudly in the US Navy and was a veteran of WW II. After the war, Jack married Dorothy (Dottie) Helen Rains in 1953. He was a hard worker across multiple careers, including Real Estate, Sales, and Construction (to include HUD home remodeling in the 1960s), with the majority of his career consisting of independent contracting until his retirement. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Frank Paris; mother, Annie McCartney Paris; and brothers, Frank Paris Jr. and Robert Paris. He is survived by his wife, Dottie Paris, and son, Brent Paris, of Huntsville, AL; niece Rhonda Reno of Jacksonville, FL; nephew Mike Paris of Van Nuys, CA; and several cousins. A graveside service will be held in Gadsden, AL, at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016. A celebration of life will be hosted by BID Designs at The Hampton House, Hampton Cove, AL, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday for friends and family. All are welcome. The family wishes to thank Hospice North Alabama for their outstanding commitment to Jack’s comfort, happiness, and well-being.
