Mr. Joe Edward Tomblin, age 60, passed away early Monday in Scotts Hill. He was born March 9, 1955 in Lexington to the late James “Ed” Tomblin and Maxine Rogers Tomblin. He was a retired factory worker, former reserve police officer and Alderman for the town of Scotts Hill, and a member of Living Water Pentecostal Church. Mr. Tomblin enjoyed hunting and golfing. Survivors include his two sons, Jeffery Edward Tomblin and Kevin Dewayne Tomblin (Sarah) of Scotts Hill; one brother, Larry Tomblin of Scotts Hill; and four grandchildren, Emily Wilson, William Tomblin, Katie Tomblin, and Jaxon Tomblin. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Living Water Church in Scotts Hill. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM.
