Emma L. Thorne, 83, Russellville, Alabama, passed away February 26, 2016 at Russellville Health Care.
She lived most all of her life in Franklin County, Alabama and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 29, 2016, 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Phillip Goad officiating. The visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include sons, Dan (Elizabeth) Thorne, Russell (Jeanette) Thorne; siblings, Curtis Peppers, Worley Ballard; grandchildren, Daniel Thorne, Trenton Thorne, Justin Thorne, Heather Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Clayton Thorne, Ethan Thorne, Abbey Thorne, and Peyton Thorne; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband, Jack Thorne; parents, Dee Curt and Aldie Forrester Ballard; son, Robby Thorne; grandson, Curt Thorne.
