Funeral service for Curtis William Parker, age 30, of Frankewing, will be conducted Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Van Johnson and Bro. Greg Wiser officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery. Mr. Parker passed away February 26, 2016 at his residence.
A native of St. Charles Parish, LA, he was the son of Jeff and Betty Myers Parker, who survive. Mr. Parker was an apprentice lineman for FPU and a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Kim Gentry Parker, son Maddox Gentry Parker both of Frankewing, parents Jeff and Betty Myers Parker of Frankewing, sisters Crystal Parker, Anita Forbes both of Frankewing, grandmother Julia Ann Parker of Frankewing, parents-in-law Mike and Pam Gentry of Fayetteville, brother and sister-in-law: Brandon and Kristi Gentry of Fayetteville, nieces and nephews Tori Forbes of Springfield, LA, Brandon Forbes, Corbin Parker both of Frankewing, Sadie Beth Gentry of Fayetteville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 4 until 8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Kids Hunting for a Cure, 112 Bright Road, Hazel Green, AL 35750.
