Elizabeth K. King, 90, of Decatur passed away Feb. 22, 2016. She was born June 28, 1925 to Marvin and Gladys Kitchens. Mrs. King was a member of Austinville Methodist Church and retired after 38 years of service from Compass Bank, Decatur.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, David Albert King; her parents; brothers, James Douglas “Buddy” Kitchens and John Marvin Kitchens; and sister, Margaret Bice.
Survivors include son, Percy Phillips (Shirley); granddaughter, Terri Tincher; and sisters, Carol Harris and Sylvia Schlosser.
Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
