Memorial service for Marketta Shelton, age 56, of Lilburn, GA (formerly of Decatur), will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
Ms. Shelton, who died December 29, 2015, in Georgia, was born December 13, 1959, to Curtis Shelton and Mildred Jett Shelton. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a 1977 graduate of Austin High School, and attended Airline Flight Attendant school.
She is survived by two sons, Curtis Mays and Tyler Mays, both of Lilburn, GA; one sister, Teresa Shelton Barbee (Buddy) of Decatur; companion, Wayne Hall of Lilburn, GA; one nephew, Christopher Barbee of Danville; one niece, Meaghan Thrasher of Decatur; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
