DECATUR-Decatur Police arrest two suspects on a drug sale at Decatur Morgan Hospital at 1201 7th Street in Decatur on Saturday, February 13:
“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On February 13, 2016, Officer Walter Segars with the Decatur Police Department worked off-duty security within the Decatur Morgan Hospital Main Campus on 1201 7th St SE. During this time hospital staff became aware of suspicious activity that occurred within room 379. Officer Segars approached the room and spoke with an occupant identified as Ricky Dale Price that attempted to leave. Price was found to be in possession of a quantity of marihuana and was placed under arrest. Price was booked for Possession of Marihuana 2nd Degree in the Decatur City Jail and processed with a $500.00 bond.
The investigation continued and the patient admitted to room 379 was identified as Reginal
Reginal Tirome Blair
Tirome Blair. Blair was later found to be in possession of an additional amount of marihuana and drug sale equipment within his room.
The evidence was seized and Inv. Vance Summers obtained warrants for Possession of Marihuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for Blair. Blair was later dismissed from the Decatur Morgan Hospital and Inv. Summers placed him under arrest at his residence. Blair was transported to the Decatur City Jail where he was booked and processed. Blair was later transferred to the Morgan County Jail with a $3,000.00 bond.’
