Lester Ray “Leck” Dulaney, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2016, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was born September 16, 1924, to James Henry and Laura Warren Dulaney. Lester was born in Fulton where he lived most of his life happily on the third generation family farm. He was a hard-working, dedicated single parent who had a kind and soft heart. He was a Church of Christ in belief.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
He was the beloved father of, and is survived by, Tammy, Gail, Debbie, and Danny; as well as his granddaughter Kelly and grandson Sean.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vida Wilemon and Vada Dulaney; and five brothers, Lawrence, James Elgar, Melvin, Clester, and Clarence Dulaney.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
