Louie Bradford, 75, of Toney, passed away Sunday. He was a firefighter serving the City of Huntsville for over 40 years. Before joining the HFD, Mr. Bradford was a firefighter for the US Forest Service in San Bernadino, CA. He also coached youth league football for many years and with his wife, Betty, owned and operated Acme Sewing Center.
Survivors include: wife Betty Golden Bradford; two sons, Keith Bradford and Kim Bradford; two daughters, Angie Sisk and Sherry Tipton; ten grandchildren: Alex Bradford, Benny Bradford, Jared Walker, John Keir, Cody Flores, Jason Flores, Casey Sisk, Colby Sisk, Montez Bradford, and Holly Flores; great-granddaughter, Everly Flores; and sister, Mavalene Starling.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
