Hazel Keel Hanners

Funeral service for Hazel Keel Hanners age 94 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at New Center Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Bates officiating with burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hanners, who died on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Summerford Nursing Home, was born on April 10, 1921 in Morgan County to Walter Sherman Keel and Wyoma Yeager Keel. She was a member of the New Center Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Brandon “Bob” Hanners by two daughters; Patricia Lee “Pat” Hanners and Sue Ellen Holmes and by a brother; Howard Keel.

Rodney McAbee, Hunter Minter, AJ Hughes, Matthew Hamm, Daniel Hamm and Joseph Hamm will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family request Memorials be made to the New Center Baptist Church Seniors Program or the Choir.
