Mary H. Butler, age 91, of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was a native of Ludlow, PA, and attended the University of Missouri. She moved to Oak Ridge, TN in early 1946 to work at Oak Ridge Hospital. It was in Oak Ridge that she met the love of her life Alfred C. (Fred) Butler, and they were married December 21, 1946. Mary worked as a nurse for Dr. Regan in OB/GYN in Oak Ridge for 20 years. The couple lived in Knoxville, Colorado, and Lawrenceburg, TN. Mary was a generous loving person who made friends wherever she went. She loved birds and animals. She read her bible every night and especially loved the Psalms. She will be missed by all who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Madaline Harlampous; two brothers, James Harlampous and George Harlampous; and one nephew, Gary Harlampous.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM Monday, February 15, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Monday, February 15, 2016, with Charles Gresham officiating. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
