David Albert Craig, age 94, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, February 12th from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dwayne McDuff officiating. Entombment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas in 1943 with a Chemical Engineering Degree and was retired with Reynolds Metals. Preceding him in death was his wife of 64 years, Lois Sybil Craig. Survivors are his sons, Thomas A. Craig, spouse Sallie, and David A. Craig; grandchildren, Cassie, Matt, Joshua, and Daniel; great-granddaughter, Avree. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the charity of your choice.
