Mrs. Majors passed away early Sunday morning at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.

She was a native of Hornsby, the daughter of the late Clarence N. and Mamie Price Lowrance and lived her entire life in Hardeman County.

For many years, Mrs. Majors was a CNA at Bolivar General Hospital and also worked at Kilgore for over 6 years. Additionally, she was owner/operator of Majors’ Grocery near Bolivar. Her church membership was at Dixie Hills Baptist Church, but she also attended Trinity Baptist Church in Bolivar.

She leaves three daughters, Patsy Stinson of Bolivar, Maerene (Larry) Webb of Saulsbury and Diane (Dickie) Maxwell of Middleton; two sons, Wayne (Karla) Majors of Jacksonville, FL and Lynn (Robin) Majors of Bolivar; 15 grandchildren, Vicki (Jeff) Richardson, Joe Stewart, Anthony (Laurie) Webb, Cindy (David) Flowers, Chris (Sherri) Webb, Tammy (Tony) King, Kristy (Richard) Hollaway, Missy (Raymond) Fields, Richie Majors, Kim (Joe) Edgin, Kasey (Ryan) Lax, Pamela (Jason) Hunter, Kevin (Heather) Majors, Audra (Lee) Bruce and Ashley Majors; 31 great-grandchildren, Erika, T.J., Demi, Jordan, Taylor, Jonathan, Christin, Jessica, Dalton, Jesse, Kaylee, Nick, Ethan, Emily, Matthew, Mason, Austin, Ava, Skylah, Abbie, Hunter, Carter, Kolby, Shelby, Matthew, Keaton, Conner, Jacob, Zachary, Emma and Lily; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Jake, Tyson, Cash and Colby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Alcie Austin, Fern Hodge, Alma Kirkman, Essie Stanfield, Daisy Goodrum and Verbal Baker; and 3 brothers, Paul, J.C. and Shelby Lowarance.
