FLORENCE-Press release from Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton concerning Corrections Deputy Dee Peters:
“Corrections Deputy Dee Peters was involved in an automobile crash on Sunday, January 17th, and has remained in the Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital ever since. She has exhausted all leave and is not drawing a check at this time. In addition to her regular bills, she has medical bills and other related expenses accumulating on a daily basis.
Her coworkers want to help her with these expenses and we have set up an account at Progress Bank in her name. Anyone who would like to contribute may do so at any branch of Progress Bank or at the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office. Without assistance there is a real possibility she could lose everything she owns including her home. All donations would be very appreciated.”
