Clyde Puckett – Obituary

Clyde Puckett, age 87, of Ford City, AL passed away Thursday, February, 04, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, February, 07, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Brother J.D Harrison. Mr. Puckett was a Charter member of Ford City Baptist Church he served as deacon, song leader, Sunday School Superintendent as well as a faithful member.  He was Co-Owner of Cates and Puckett Construction Company.

 

Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Ida Mae Puckett; grandson, son Dan Puckett; brothers, Bill, Jack, Fred, Riley Puckett; sisters, Ethel Bowling, Edna Terry, and Evelyn Smith, he was the last of eight children; In-laws Henry Isbell and Lena Mae Chaney Isbell.

Survivors include wife of 66 wonderful years, Kathelene Puckett; sons, Doug Puckett and Gary Puckett; grandson, Joshua Puckett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Eric Puckett, Roger Puckett, Phillip Puckett, Adam Puckett, Wayne Dennison, and Jamie Dennison.
