Funeral for Ommie Tucker, 93, will be Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Oscar Ray Gray officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tucker died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Falkville Health and Rehab. She was born June 30, 1922, to Dave Montgomery and Docie Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace Tucker and grandson, Tyler Tucker.
Survivors include two sons, Leland Tucker and Levi Tucker; two brothers, Joe Montgomery and Lewis Montgomery; three sisters, Elizabeth Tucker, Edith Heflin and Grace Tucker; three grandchildren, K-Leigh Tucker, Zach Tucker and Logan Anglin; and three great-grand children, Jaden Tucker, Laiken Tucker and Heather McCary.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family would like to thank Falkville Health and Rehab for the loving care they have shown.
