James Wilburn Ridnour age 79 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Ridnour was born May 22, 1936 in Jackson County, KY to Fred E. Ridnour and Estel Hamilton Ridnour.
Graveside services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Ridnour was in the United States Air Force from 1957 – 1967, where he was Airman 1st Class and a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved crafts, painting, cars, trucks, coffee and his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife, Annie Jo Ridnour of Athens; one son, Andrew Ridnour and wife, Amy of Athens; three grandchildren, Samuel Ridnour, Alexandra Ridnour and Leah Ridnour; one sister Helen Ridnour Tyner, KY; two brothers, Danny Ridner of Nolensville, TN and Larry Ridnour of Tyler, KY
