On Jan. 27, 2016, Johnnie William Hardiman was called to heaven after a long battle with cancer. He lived on Wagnon Mountain with his wife, Beth, and was a member of Barton First Baptist Church, Cherokee, Alabama. After 15 years of service at both Lowes and TVA, he touched many lives with his smiles and positive strength. He was born in Athens, Alabama. To those who knew him, the sun will seem a little dimmer over Alabama for a while.
