Sarah Neill Rich departed this life on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the age of 90 years and 2 months. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 27, 1925, the daughter of the late Hardin B. and Katie Sue Hulen Neill. On August 29, 1941, she was united in marriage to Tom Frank Rich, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2014.
Sarah was the co-owner of Rich’s Store and had also worked at Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Sue Vanhoose, Wayland Rich, Winda Dennis, Gayle Tidwell, Jerry Rich, Demus Rich, and Teddy Rich all of Savannah, Tennessee; a sister, Cleo Webb of Savannah, Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
