charlesFuneral service for Charles “Steve” Haynes, 59, will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Sam Gugliotta officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery in Lauderdale County . Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Haynes died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. He was born February 28, 1956, in Kansas to Charles Edward Haynes and Barbara Dean Brattin Haynes. Mr. Haynes served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the American Legion Post 72 in Decatur and a member of VFW Post 10774 in Falkville. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hartselle. He was employed by United Plywood as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his father.

his Wife, Marilyn Joyce Belew Haynes, Hartselle, AL

James Haynes (Joy), Austin, TX

One Daughter:
Amanda Haynes, Decatur, AL

Mother:
Barbara Haynes, Springfield, Missouri

One Sister:
Cindy Myers (Dwayne), Brookline, Missouri

One Grandchild:
Beverlyann McGill

Pallbearers will be Daniel Chappell, Tyler Campbell, Dalton Anderton, Greg Doud, Kyle Doud, and Steven Doud.
