TUSCUMBIA-Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson issued this statement on the arrest of one suspect charged with several drug charges:
“On January 27, 2016 Colbert County Sheriff’s Investigators while investigating stolen property report and drug activity arrested William Jackson Davis Jr from Underwood Mtn. road.
Items recovered were various types of pills, 5.6 grams of ICE, 3 counterfeit $100 bills, misc. drug paraphernalia and stolen property from Franklin County. Agencies involved were Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Colbert County Drug Task Force and Colbert County Sheriff’s Investigators.
Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson wants to say “THANK YOU” to all the agencies involved for your hard work and help in this case.
Mr. Davis has a $7500 bond. He has 3 counts of Unlawful Poss. Clt’d Subs, Criminal Poss. Of a Forged Instrument 1st.”
