Carol Ann Borden, 72, of River Grove, Illinois died Sunday, January 24, 2016.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Elkins East Chapel from 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Chapel with David and Rita Baroni officiating. Burial will be at Rutherford Cemetery in Lawrence County, Alabama.
Mrs. Borden was preceded in death by her husband, RM “Curly” Borden; son, Tommy Borden; parents, Herbert and Nita Phillips; three brothers, James, Bobby, and Rayburn Phillips.
Mrs. Borden is survived by her son, Ricky Borden (Rebecca); grandchildren, Jessica Borden (Sean Bolen) and Joshua Hawkins; great-grandchild, Abigail Borden; sister, Marilyn Gimson; two newphews, Kevin and Jeff Gimson; great-nephew, Keith Nolan Gimson.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Gimson, Jeff Gimson, Alan Borden, James Phillips, Joshua Hawkins, and Sean Bolen.
