Funeral services for Mrs. Marie McPeake, age 76, are scheduled for 2PM, Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. McPeake passed away Monday in Jackson. She was born January 11, 1940 in Henderson County to the late Lloyd Thomas and Lois Overman Lindsey. She was retired co-owner of McPeake Plumbing and Electric. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Billy, and Jerry Lindsey and one sister, Kathy Harris. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Mr. Jerry McPeake of Lexington; son, Jimmy McPeake of Lexington; two daughters, Tammy McPeake and Amy Thurston (Robert M.) of Lexington; two sister, Linda Buck of Lexington and Gail Sweeny of Spruce Pine, AL; and one grandson, Tyler Neal Thurston. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10am – 9pm and on Thursday, 10am until time of service at 2pm.
