Kathleen O. Dutton, 80, of Town Creek died Jan. 21, 2016, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. Her funeral will be Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from noon to 2 p.m. just prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Kathleen was born on Dec. 27, 1935, in Lawrence County to Leslie and Kate Odell. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Stars, Leighton Chapter #239. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 50 years, Willard H. Dutton; three brothers, Frank, Willie, and Dewey Odell; two sisters, Myrtle Maness and Edna Gibson.
She is survived by her greatest joy, her family; two sons, Timmy Dutton (Darlene), Tony (Sandie); grandchildren, T.J., Andy (Senay) and Samantha Dutton; great grandson, Colin Joseph Dutton; a sister, Earline Norton; and a brother, Charles Odell, all of Town Creek. Pallbearers will be; Danny Gibson, Jerry Gibson, Theo Gibson, Roy King, Tim Odell and Phil Terrell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Norton and Jarin Norton.
