Charles H. “Chuck” Weaver, 69, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Lillian Wood Weaver; sister, Brenda Martin; and a grandson, Miles Stuart Hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lavender Weaver; children, Michelle Weaver, Brett Weaver (Pam), Robert “Bo” Hunter (Jennifer Bice), Kathryn Hunter (David Cano); granddaughter, Jordan Weaver; two brothers, Billy Weaver (Peggy) and Mark Weaver, both of Huntsville; and two sisters, Carol Segall of Hazel Green and Susan Wright (Jerry) of Fayetteville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Reverend Evan Garner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
