Mrs. Dorothy Laverne Patterson, 78, of Florence, passed away on January 18, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service in Greenview Memorial Park beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Brad Adcock officiating.
Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest H. and Polly Nix Williams; sisters, June Nelson and Frances Green and her brother, Ernest Williams, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Lenis Patterson of Florence, AL; son, Blair Patterson (Cathy) of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Thalia Baker (Edward) of Cropwell, AL; sister, Laura Ellen Pace of Florence, AL; and her grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
