howardHoward W. Hutcheson, age 68, Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Russellville Hospital.

Howard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a former Franklin County Commissioner District 2 and retired as superintendent from Phil Campbell Water & Sewer Department. He was a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved everyone and was considered by his family, the greatest man in the world.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Darren Stewart and Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating. Burial will be at New Friendship Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years, Linda Hutcheson; sons, Chad Hutcheson (wife, Andrea), Burt Hutcheson (wife, Whitney), Matt Hutcheson (wife, Jammie); grandchildren, Hunter, Rachel, Seth, Emma, Hudson, Easton; sisters, Martha Goss (husband, Allen), Betty Crosby (husband, Gene), Patti Rice (husband, Alan); and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Flavis & Inez Hutcheson; and his brother.

The pallbearers will be Milton Hutcheson, Melvin Hutcheson, Toby Hutcheson, Alan Rice, Allen Goss, and Robert Cameron. The honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Hunter Hutcheson, Seth Hutcheson, Hudson Hutcheson, and Easton Hutcheson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the first responders and the nurses and staff of Russellville Hospital ER for the love and care of our family.
