Wayne T. Norton, 70, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at ECM Hospital. He was retired from Joe Wheeler State Park. He was the best father and husband in the world!
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek.
Pallbearers will be Jack Murphy, Justin Murphy, Dwight Mooneyhan, Henry Simbeck, Matthew Horton and Stacy Scott.
Mr. Norton was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Norton Paseur.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Norton; daughters, Brenda (Stacy) Scott, Glenda (Ronnie) Nix and Patricia (Henry) Simbeck; grandchildren, Alicia, Kristi, Morgan, Matthew, Brooke and Stacy; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and stepchildren, Sandra (Ken) Hilton, Tim (Tanele) Sides and Beca Sides.
