Moulton Man Killed Two Injured In Auto Accident In Moulton

traffic_fatality2-300x206MOULTON-Wednesday, January 13 a traffic fatality occurred.  The ALEA has issued this statement:

A two-vehicle crash Wednesday, January 13, has claimed the life of a Moulton man. Franklin Williams, 63, was killed when the 1999 Dodge Durango he was driving collided with a 1994 Ford L-8000 truck driven by Darryl Edward Swindle, 61, of Tuscumbia.

Williams was transported to the Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton where he was pronounced dead.

Swindle and the Durango’s passenger, Jean Rogers of Tuscumbia, were also transported to the Lawrence Medical Center.

The crash occurred at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Alabama 157 and Alabama 36, nine miles south of Moulton.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
