Benny Wells ”Pete” Davis, age 71 of Sheffield, died Sunday January 10, 2016. His graveside service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Robert Mitchell officiating.
Benny was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tuscumbia and was preceded in death by his parents, Ben F. and Kathleen Wells Davis.
He is survived by his sister; Kathy Davis Burrows (Randy), nieces; Katie Burrows, Rebecca Cantrell (Blaine), two great nieces; Kathleen and Kennedy Cantrell, numerous cousins and beloved companion,
Nell Murphy.
He was a devoted son and adored his nieces and great nieces. He also was a faithful fan of Alabama football. He will be missed by many.
