Willie Lavrette Baker Hudson, 82, Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at her residence.
She was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. She was a volunteer of arts and crafts at East Franklin Elementary School, avid painter, and loved arts and crafts.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include son, David B. Hudson Jr. and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Brad, Seth and Shelby; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dr. David B. Hudson, Sr.; son, Sean Baker Hudson.
The family would like to thank Davita Dialysis in Russellville for many years of caring and respectful help they gave her. Nana loved Alabama Football! She said, “Roll Tide” on her last day. We hope that she touched many hearts in her life, she so loved the children. Mom is now in Heaven with my dad, brothers and many beloved family members.
