Nancy K. Woods, age 68, of Muscle Shoals died Thursday, January 07, 2016. Her family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A celebration of life will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Melvin Mordecai officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Woods was a Colbert County native and a member of Parkview Baptist church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Nancy enjoyed helping others and went on the Brazil Mission Trip of 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ilene and Elmer Emmons and brothers, Charles and Tommy Emmons.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years; O’Neal Woods, daughters; Tara Bishop and husband Brandon, Tammy Lockley and husband Jeff, grandchildren; Taylor Lockley, Mason Bishop and Averi Bishop, all of Muscle Shoals.
Pallbearers are Sam Scoggins, Smokey Biffle, Jimmy Puckett, Michael Laster, Dale Weems and Danny Davis.
