Samantha Ann Evans passed peacefully on January 4, 2016. She was 34 years old. Her life reflected her independent, generous spirit. She was an accomplished businesswoman with a passion for nature. A prolific writer and gifted artist, Samantha freely shared her talent with those she loved and admired. Samantha was the wife of William Alex Evans and devoted mother of Franklyn Aurora Evans of Salt Lake City, UT. She also leaves behind her mother and dad, Lisa and Keith East (Owens Cross Roads); sister and brother-in-law, Keri and Adam Hunter (Huntsville); brother Brian East (Huntsville); aunt and uncle, Holly and Rick Snow (Owens Cross Roads); her father and stepmother, Scott and Anne-Marie Morgan (Valrico, FL) and beloved sister, Rainbow Morgan (Salt Lake City) and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother and step-grandfather Martha and Frank Delaney, grandfather Dick Womack, and uncle David Womack; as well as her grandmother and grandfather, Nelda Eline and Troy Olen Morgan and her aunt, Pamela Morgan Williams. Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a farewell service at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Laurel Ward will be officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family suggests donations in celebration of Samantha’s life be made to Heartlite Hospice. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
