Ronnie G. Pettus, 67, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam war.
Friends may visit the family today from noon-1 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow immediately at Pettus Cemetery, with military honors. Danny Pettus will be officiating.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Vautres Pettus, and brother, Tommie Pettus.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina (Anthony) Fulks; son, Jerod (Mechele) Pettus; mother of his children, Macklin Pettus; grandchildren, Mark McLemore, Ryan Fulks, and Madalyn and Gracie Pettus; and nephews, Shane and Jeremy Pettus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans Organization or to the Rogersville VFW Post No. 5846.
