A remembrance service for William Riley “Buddy” Bonds, age 69, will be today, Jan. 3, 2016, from noon to 2 p.m. at Masterson Missionary Baptist Church at County Road 236, Mt. Moriah Road, Moulton, Al.
Mr. Buddy Bonds passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born on Mar. 27, 1946. Mr. Bonds was a member of Masterson Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a man who everyone that knew him loved and respected and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Bonds is survived by his wife, Sue Elaine Bonds. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thedford Bonds and Dollie Jane Ellenburg Bonds, of Moulton; and a brother, James Paul Bonds, of Waynesboro, Tennessee.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Hicks (Chris); one grandson, Levi Hicks; brother, William Thedford (JR) Bonds, Moulton; sisters, Mary Ruth Butler, Jewell Parker, Moulton; Thelma Bonds, Houston, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to wife, Sue Bonds, 782 Co. Rd. 234, Moulton, AL 35650.
