Memorial service for Bobby Blankenship, 60, of Falkville, will be today, Jan. 3, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Brother Joe David Bailey officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Blankenship died Dec. 31, 2015, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1955, in Tennessee to Charles Thomas Blankenship and Johnnie Hughes Blankenship. Bobby was a loving husband, father, and Papaw. He was also an avid Alabama fan. Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jo Anne Weatterwax; and a brother, Wayne Blankenship.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Blankenship;
two sons, Jonathan Blankenship (Alanna), of Orlando, Florida and
Ben Blankenship (Kelli), of Hartselle; one brother,
Tommy Blankenship (Vickie), of Hartselle; and five grandchildren.
