Services for Billy Joe Towe Sr. will be today Jan. 3, 2016, at Roselawn Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m followed by the services at 2:30 p.m. Born Feb. 20, 1939, to Mr. and Mrs. E.S.Towe Sr. (Mamie), he lived the majority of his life in Limestone County. There he enjoyed a long and adventurous career as an Aerial Applicator. His love of flying and outdoor adventures was surpassed only by his love for his family. Mr. Towe married his high school sweetheart, Reba Faye Ferguson, in 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents; youngest son, Kim; three sisters; and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Reba Faye; sons, Billy Jr. ( Chere) and Barry (Anita); daughter-in-law, Jackie; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; and 13 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
