Mrs. Annie Love Cook, age 74 of Tuscumbia, passed away on December 30, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1941. She was a lifelong resident of Colbert County. Annie and husband, Tommy, were the owners of Ford City Ace Hardware for 30 plus years and were owners in Love Family Properties. Annie was an avid golfer and a long time member at Cypress Lakes Country Club.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in Colbert Memorial Chapel with Pastor Sam Hardie officiating. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by parents, Richard Love and Zona Dee Love; brothers, Bob Love, Jack Love, and Hap Chandler.
She is survived by her husband Tommy Cook of 56 years; daughters, Vickie Cook McKee and husband Paul of Madison, AL, Carla Cook Trousdale and husband Roger of Ford City, AL; son, Ricky Cook and wife Tammy of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Megan and Brooke McKee, Devin and Dillon Cook; Sister, Mary Love Isbell; sister-in law, Martha Love; and brother in-law, Marcel Isbell; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ron Gray, Mac Mills, Chris Chrisman, David Engen, Devin Cook and Dillon Cook.
Honorary pallbearer will be Harold Reid.
