Almon Sanford Peppers, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired insurance agent, and of the Southern Baptist Faith. Mr. Peppers served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dilmos and Annie Jane Chandler Peppers; eight brothers, Leo Peppers, Veto Peppers, Herbert Peppers, Hershel Peppers, Bobby Peppers, Paul Peppers, Homer Peppers, and Arlo Peppers; and two sisters, Ludie Townsend and Clayton Beard.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015, with Thomas Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
