Florence Police Warning…Counterfeit 100’s Being Passed In The Area

FLORENCE-Retail establisments in the Shoals Area need to be aware that returns are not the only thing being brought into your stores….Here is a notice from the Florence Police Department:

“Retailers Beware! Over the last 48 hours multiple businesses have reported counterfeit 100 dollar bills being passed in the Shoals Area. Here is an example of the bills being passed. Note the “For Motion Picture Use Only” printed on both sides of the bills. Also, these bills are printed on wax based paper and have a distinct feel. Please help spread the word that these are in our area.”
