Graveside service for Mr. William Wayne Patterson, age 61, formerly of Decatur and Gadsden, Alabama, will be today, Dec. 27, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Crestwood Cemetery with Steve Baccus officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
The light of our lives has ascended to heaven to his perfect body. Mr. William Patterson passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Edward Patterson; grandparents, Carl and Alba Salvo; and Preston and Elizabeth Patterson.
He is survived by his mother, Alba Salvo Patterson; brother, Mickey (Kelly) Patterson; niece, Katie Patterson; and nephews, Michael and William Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Michael Patterson, William Patterson, Mark Patterson, Shay Chalfant, Scott Huff, and Mack Reeves.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the Nursing staff of Cartersville Hospital ICU, the loving staff of Townsend Park, and a special friend, John.
