Jesse O. Davis, 89, of Rogersville died Thursday, December 24th, 2015 at ECM Hospital. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at Rogersville Funeral Home from 12 – 2 p.m. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Tim Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be Jesse D. Davis, David Ezell, Daniel Ezell, Jimmy Davis, Christopher Russell and Louie Davis, Jr.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lillie Davis; wife, Millinea Davis; sister, Willie Mae Fulks and brothers, Cleveland and Oscar Davis. He is survived by his children, Larry (Lou Ann) Davis and Kaye (Garry) Russell; grandchildren, Alan (Julie) Davis, Kristen (Cory) Livingston, Jesse D. (Jennifer) Davis and Christopher (Meagan) Russell; great-grandchildren, Evan, Gavin, Kelcie, Austin, Colton, Connor and Lilly; brother, Louie (Nell) Davis and sister, Dessie Sims.
