Funeral for Lois Eleanor Lancaster Barbrey, 90, will be Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lucky Teague officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Barbrey, who joined her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at her residence, was born September 21, 1925, in South Carolina, to John Henry Lancaster and Tabithia Pendora Graydon Lancaster. She has four brothers and one sister. She was a loving mother of four and grandmother of ten. She has 13 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church. Her profession in life was homemaker and cosmetologist. She is preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Keith Barbrey (Susan Riggs), Randy Barbrey (Brenda DeVaney); two daughters, Gail Faught (David), Lyn Letson Holliday (Boyd); grandchildren, Kelli Ketchum, Tori Rogers, Leslie Smith, Kevin Barbrey, Wes Letson, Chase Barbrey, Lindsey Kirby, Jessica Hargett, Zach Letson, and Jordan Barbrey; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Memorials may be made to Flint Baptist Church or Hospice of the Valley.
