Murphy B. Hankins, 73, of Hartselle, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at his residence. He was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. Mr. Hankins was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Robbie Hankins.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Crow Hankins; two daughters, Nevis Hankins and Dana Mooney; stepdaughter, Melissa Suits; two stepsons, Tim Mote and Greg Mote; also seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today, Dec. 21, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
