William Hodge Steenson, 72, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015. Mr. Steenson was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Beryl Steenson; brother, Johnny Steenson; and sisters, Jean Terry and Rebecca Keaton.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Steenson; son, Chase Steenson; daughter, Serena Curtis (Greg); three brothers, his twin James Steenson (Joyce), Wayne Steenson (Faye), and Hal Steenson (Mollie); three sisters, Betty Ghilchrist (Jack), Billie La Budde (Ed), and Judy Dunlap (Larry); also three grandchildren, Andrew and twins Alanna and Drennon.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a 2 p.m. chapel service with Chaplain John Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
