James Arnel Birdyshaw, age 68, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, after an extended illness at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peppertown Freewill Baptist Church with Tim Hamback officiating.
Mr. Birdyshaw was a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee. He was a retired ironworker and insurance agent for Liberty National. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Harry Fulton; and father, Bud Birdyshaw.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Birdyshaw; two daughters, Tara Tipper (Brad), and Lindsay Oliver (Brian), both of Lexington; one brother, Eddie Birdyshaw (Rita), of Greenhill; two stepsons, Tanner and Luc Staggs; grandchildren, Colton, Collin, and Cade Sanchez, Ayden and Paul Oliver, and Hallie Tipper; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Due to the body being donated for research, the family request that donations be made to the
