Mrs. Betty Sue Burnett, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was born August 14, 1938 to Hollis and Ida Tate Meeks who preceded her in death along with her husband, James Burnett, brother, Durand Meeks; sister, Vera Wanda Braden.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Teresa) Burnett; daughters, Vickie (Dan) Layne, Karen (Jim) Layne and LaDonna (Eric) Green; brother, Tate (Joyce) Meeks; grandchildren, Hollie (Justin), Dale, Anthony, Shane, Justin (Audrey), Jake (Donna Jo), Erica (Jake), Whitney (Stephen) and Emily (Zachary); great-grandchildren, Dakota, Kyndrianna, Matthew, Kendra, Jaiden and Lincoln (due January).
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Burnett, Bro. Lloyd Crisp and Bro. Boyd Brown officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Online condolences at www.laynefuneralhome.com
