Verdell Vandiver, age 80, passed away, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel. Officiating will be Brother Danny Winningham.
He is survived by wife Martha Vandiver.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Beatrice Vandiver; brothers; and sisters.
Survivors are wife, Martha Vandiver (Leighton, Alabama); sons, Tony Vandiver (Prattville, Alabama) and Mark Vandiver (Fayette, Alabama); brothers, Jimmie Vandiver and Verbon Vandiver; sisters, Vedra Ayres, Hassie Waldrep, Jean Logan, and Leaner Whitt; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
