TUSCUMBIA-Tuscumbia Retail Development, Inc., a group of volunteers, whose goal is to grow and sustain business in the City held a cocktail party on Tuesday evening, December 8 along with the ladies of Fezziwig to kick-off all the festivities that will take place with ‘It’s A Dickens Christmas, Y’all’.
The party was held at Locust Hill located in Tuscumbia. The food was marvelous and of course you could find folks milling about in period clothes. The Christmas decorations in this belle of a home were spot on and everyone there was having a great time in anticipation of all the festivities beginning on Friday, December 11th with an English Christmas dinner served at the Roundhouse located at Tuscumbia Railway Depot to start at 7 Pm and then on to Saturday, December 12 where the festivities will fill the town of Tuscumbia from 10 Am until 5 PM celebrating the era of a Dickens Christmas.
