Mark “Pete” Waymon Parker, Jr., 73, Huntsville, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015. Mr. Parker was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. He retired from Bellsouth in 1998 after 34 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Dale Parker. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Parker; two sons, Mark Kevin Parker (Dale) of Huntsville, AL, Philip Neil Parker (Kimberly) of Decatur, AL; sisters, Bobbie Parker Tate and Mary Parker Hymer, both of Meridianville, AL; four grandchildren, Daniel Ryan Parker, Justin Thomas Parker, William Aaron Parker, and Emily Elizabeth Parker. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Moores Mill Volunteer Fire Department or to one’s favorite charity. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
